striders always scared me, especially when they crouch and sprintJust finished HL2 again, fighing against Gunships and Striders is the best part of the game, especally gunships.
Once you start to develop a strategey on how to defeat a gunship with ease, taking them down is very very fun, especally on hard mode (only legends play hard mode).
When i was playing HL2 today (the chapter where you fight in the City 17 Rebel vs Combine conflict), i was in this broken concrete building and i was hiding behind some concrete from a Strider, when i stopped hiding i saw the Strider staring directly at me, it's warp cannon was pointed downward, it's entire body was slanted slightly downward, that Strider was literally staring me down despite us being on the same height level.striders always scared me, especially when they crouch and sprint
No, Xen is super short how could you drop it when you get to Xen. The only time I drop play throughs is ones I don't wanna play On a Rail, everything else goes to the end.does anyone else stop playing when they get to xen? I've only gone through all of it once.
I don't mind xen. I hate the part with the barrels and conveyor belts thoughdoes anyone else stop playing when they get to xen? I've only gone through all of it once.
I don't remember why On a Rail is so hatedNo, Xen is super short how could you drop it when you get to Xen. The only time I drop play throughs is ones I don't wanna play On a Rail, everything else goes to the end.
For me its because it kills the pacing of the game, you can go at any speed you wish all game and then you're locked to the speed of the cart for a whole chapter.I don't remember why On a Rail is so hated
The gameplay of 2 is such a downgrade compared to 1. The addition of the infinite ammo boxes made the game too easy even on hardhalf life 1 gemmy
half life 2 niggerbrim
Aren’t striders based off from the tripods from war of the worlds?striders always scared me, especially when they crouch and sprint
because it's le bad platform stuff and I want to skip to opposing force lole. No, Xen is super short how could you drop it when you get to Xen.
I never noticed it. I kinda liked the chapter and the environment. It felt like the most half life part of the gameFor me its because it kills the pacing of the game, you can go at any speed you wish all game and then you're locked to the speed of the cart for a whole chapter.
Do you mean the half life 1 remake called “Black Mesa”?Fun or something, I bought the remake on steam and it's just been rotting in my steam library, do I play it, I'm pretty sure I can't refund either way.
It feels like a brick wall to me every time I play the game, the atmosphere is alright, the feeling of going through the veins of the black mesa facility but if there's a most "half life" part of the game its Questionable Ethics, that just oozes half life.I never noticed it. Yeah.Do you mean the half life 1 remake called “Black Mesa”?
Maybe I like taking it slow. I like games like Stalker where you have to think before you move since you die in a single hit from an AK74 so On a Rail didn't seem to limit me that muchIt feels like a brick wall to me every time I play the game, the atmosphere is alright, the feeling of going through the veins of the black mesa facility but if there's a most "half life" part of the game its Questionable Ethics, that just oozes half life.
There's this one bald blob motherfucker in SoC that I couldn't get past, then I ditched it and played Clear Sky and the same motherfucker appeared again, can never get past him and he makes me zoom into his face and kills me with his psychic energy, but besides that I wish I could get to the full games.Maybe I like taking it slow. I know what you're talking about. They're controllers. You have to hide when you hear a sound otherwise they do the camera zooming psy attackThere's this one bald blob motherfucker in SoC that I couldn't get past, then I ditched it and played Clear Sky and the same motherfucker appeared again, can never get past him and he makes me zoom into his face and kills me with his psychic energy, but besides that I wish I could get to the full games.
