I'm still in the midst of doing some chores for my household right now, so I can't "directly" respond, but I can copy-and-paste words that I previously wrote a few weeks ago on this topic from a PM with someone, if that suffices:@baqqrih please respond
>>Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.
>So, now, what is this blasphemy our savior is speaking of? This is the only "unforgivable sin" mentioned here, a true point of no return, so we must now define what this is. Well, to put it quite simply, I will provide some context, as I will state upfront that it is now impossible for us to even commit this sin, but to teach you of this tale, I will now explain it. In this passage, we hear of Christ exorcising a man of demons, sending them out from the man through His power. The highest of the Jews, their leaders, meanwhile, watch in awe, and in furious denial, for they deny that Christ is He, the true Messiah. In doing this, one accuses Christ, directly to His physical face, not of serving God, but of serving demons. They did all of this denial while being wholly educated of God and of prophecy, all of the evidence now in their face, and yet it was there they still denied Him. In doing so, that who made such an accusation committed a sin unforgivable, for, even in all of his education, all of the truths he knew, he still chose to deny Christ, instead. As such, for you or I, there is no sin that God can not forgive. He truly forgives all, it is so wonderful.
