All denominations of Christianity are braindead retards bro lol... Read your damn bibles. Stop deepthroating pharisees in gold fringed dresses who sit in fancy chairs at synogauges and feasts. Bible calls out these idiots yet people still live in denial while worshipping man made wisdom and religion. Grow up.

What do slug's christcacas think of the separation of church and state? Why do you think they should be separated or not separated?
If you think that they shouldn't be separated then what would you do to pervent or decrease corruption in church?

Good question.
Honestly I'm not an expert in that domain, until very recently and still now to some degree I don't care that much about this issue, so yeah idk.
I don't think corruption can be avoided as it's a purely human thing, and human freedom cannot be supressed, however good kings in europe have been known to fight corruption in the aristocracy so idk.
Honestly I wouldn't mind the return of the french monarchy given by divine right, it worked quite well

You have to take into account that corruption in church can incredibly damage the religion's reputation. There is a reason to why Europe started wandering away from christianity during the modern era.

Wow I didn't expect this. Do you think that god himself gave the right to rule to the old monarchs?

To a degree yes and no.
A tree bears it's fruits that is true, and this is also something I take into account when looking at the different denominations, however you cannot see members of the Church as separated from their human nature, once you are baptized you are not a saint, that comes after the process of theosis.
Therefore it is not absurd to think that the Church can have a degree of corruption in it.
However, when you look at the before and after of christianity in Europe, you suddenly realize that the picture has a greater framework.
More education, more care for the poor, more spirituality, more rights for slaves, for the workers, for women... Et cetera.

Also it's false to think that Europe left christianity because of the corruption of the Church, it's only part of a bigger political picture.
For example in France, the revolution was a result of aristocratic corruption, and Louis XVI was a great man and King. He just had opponents within the aristocracy that hated him and who used the unwilling people of france as firepower to dethrone and decapitate the king.

Well God has a plan for every christian is what we believe first of all.
A christian King can accomplish God's plan by leading a people, if one was born a prince and educated into being a King under God's law, then it is a gift from God to the people. Also this is not the first instance of this happening. How can christians deny that God gives rulers when you have the stories of David and Solomon in the Bible ?

@Nihilma here's a video about the archbishop of the Greek Church in America. This man is basically a CIA agent dressed in fancy robes, you will find yourself fully agreeing with me once you watch it.
Additionally, the pattern of the patriarchs in Constantinople being subverted has been a thing for at least a century. This schism was already coming.

I have more, but even from these alone any sane man who looks at this from the Orthodox perspective can realize that the Greeks are in the wrong.
Wasn't that guy disallowed from visiting Mt Athos? Also I'm blocked by him on Twitter when I had one like 4 years ago I'm wondering if anyone else got blocked by him

I think some guy in the comments mentioned being blocked by him too.

I read Epistle to the Hebrews again today. I think I have a new favorite text of the Bible, it's just such a good piece of writing. I love the way it describes the fulfillment of the Old Covenant with the Jews through Jesus' life and death, from speaking of His redeeming, fulfilling blood from His glorious sacrifice to its talk of how He really is our eternal high priest, and the overall message of faith in The Lord resonates with my soul so deeply. The sheer enlightenment I felt as I read through it today really made me feel God blessing me with such lovely knowledge, strengthening my faith in He, Jesus Christ, in His sacrifice for us all, in our place in His New Covenant, it's just so perfect, truly, and it makes me so joyful! No words but The Lord's can put such a wide smile on my face. The statements of the Holy Spirit make me feel an undying, forever-burning love for God, and the feeling is so-enormously better than any worldly pleasure. I can't begin to imagine the salvation God will bless us with when we're with Him, then, if His words on this mortal world already make me feel so good inside. God is good, and I love Him.

Speaking of which, what is everyone else's favorite text of scripture right now? Anything you're currently reading through or have read through just recently?

My favorite has always been Ecclesiastes. It got me out of nihilism.
