what are your thoughts on half-life?

Solution
Half-Life is keyed in every way shape and form, the original game is actually my #1 favorite of all time and I can literally play it forever and ever, the expansions are really fun as well that expand the Black Mesa incident to a greater scale. The second game and its episodes are lesser IMO but are still 9/10s.

Valve's theme that you hear in the start of all of their games is actually just the theme from midway through Surface Tension, the longest chapter of HL1. Man the game's cinematics are still incredible today for a 20 year old game, like the tentacle in Blast Pit, the jets in Surface Tension. It's just incredible really I implore you play it; the game really set the bar for what a good singleplayer FPS is while still feeling...

I love this part of the map so much, it's so aesthetically pleasing, so industrial, so awesome.
I love this, i wish the entire game looked like this.

In half life one the penultimate chapter of the game before you go to xen is Forget About Freeman, in half life two the penultimate chapter of the game is Follow Freeman. Probably a coincidence but I think it says something.

Highgay 17 is probably the worst chapter albeit. I don't recall there being a specific section of it that was exceptionally better than the rest of the chapter.
I wouldn't say it's the worst but it isn't very eventful, i liked the bridge segment and the crane segment but there is barely anything beyond that.
Water Hazard MOGS Highway 17 anyway

I finished Half Life 2. Should I play Lost Coast next or skip to Episode 1. I know Lost Coast is just a tech demo for a shitty graphics feature that dims and brightens scenes
