The civil war was won by franco because he knew how to play all sides of his alliance, anarchist clitty leakage, German/Italian terror bombing and a massive amount of Italian aid. Seriously look it up. 70 thousand men along with a bunch of equipment. Meanwhile the aid to the republicans was lukewarm. With Britain favoring the nationalists and France being too scared to help the republicans. The Soviets also swindled and scammed the Republicans many times lol.

Yes and No, Franco won both because he had aid from Germany and Italy but he mostly won due to him possessing all the wheat fields so his men would never starve and also him controlling the majority of the Army at that time and him possessing a large amount of spain.
