Just found out SatAM is on Plex.
Here's another quality comparison, the master-tape that they're currently using obviously has color degradation, or maybe it was changed on purpose before being re-released?
Also no Paramount+ comparison, as I don't have it.

I could not for the life of me get games to work on Devuan so I bit the bullet and moved back to Windows 10 LTSC Enterprise when I got home from School.
Decided to record my gameplay of unlocking Tails Doll in Sonic R since I just so happened to have the game pre-modded and configured on my external 500GB drive.
 
Drawing in the school computer lab and saving the pictures to the desktop.

You seem to be a very hardcore Sonic fan. I'm curious: what are your thoughts on the Dreamcast? It's really polarizing from what I've heard. Do you ever wish SEGA started making consoles again, or was their exit for the best?

The polarizing console was the Saturn, most people adore the Dreamcast and see it as ahead of its time and taken too soon
It'd be cool to see Sega make consoles again but at the same time there's no real point, consoles are dying out and they're essentially just gimped PCs so who cares, the Sega of today also really isn't the same Sega anymore as they got bought out by Sammy in like 2005
In a way I've honestly just accepted the Xbox as the spiritual successor of the Dreamcast, Microsoft worked with Sega to get Windows CE on the Dreamcast and at one point the Xbox would've had backwards compatibility with Dreamcast games, they also took some old Sega executives like Peter Moore and made them in charge of Xbox

The Dreamcast is a neat novelty console, ahead of the curb in nearly every aspect compared to the competition yet it lacked what mattered the most.
The catalog of games on the system was very much underwhelming though and the marketing over in the West was equally as underwhelming, I genuinely feel that if SEGA leaned more into selling more Adult and 18+ games like the Grand Theft Auto and the like, the console could've been a smash hit, the same way the Mega Drive was a smash hit after SEGA put out a version of Moral Kombat with blood and gore.
I wish SEGA did make consoles again, but portable systems comparable to the likes of the Steam Deck and the Game Gear instead of the likes of an Xbox or a Playstation.
 
Just got word on my Work Experience week that's coming up tomorrow as it's a mandatory.
I'm going to be working an 8 - 4 for a week, but the job is so fucking far away I'll have to wake up at 6:30 and the job isn't even that glamorous, it's a shitty office job.
I'm far from happy about this fact as I sleep around 2:00am every night and knowing myself from previous experience, I most-likely won't sleep at all tonight leading to me going through the entire work day running purely off of Coffee. (which I do normally I suppose, so it's not too big of a difference but still.)

Well after a long drive up I’m in the fucking place and lo and behold the stupid cunts didn’t even set me up with something to do.
From the way the chaps going on I’m going to be sweeping and sorting shelves for the next 8 hours, that or I’m just going to be sitting around looking busy.

Well this is only a TY job, something you do in Ireland to get a feel for working before you get the real deal and to be quite frank it’s nothing major.
If you want a job go right ahead, there’s nothing stopping you from applying to some shit-hole dead end job.
Also to continue on my prior post, apparently one of the lads here has set me up with a half decent job tomorrow but I’m currently sat in the cafeteria (a small room with kitchen appliances) with the janny who’s pottering around and cleaning.
I’ve little hope of actually doing work today because the chap who told me I was going to be doing cleaning has fucked off to the main room and left me behind.

Scratch that, they have my ass on fucking sweeping duty of all things.
Apparently I’m set to do something later today on a site but I’ve no idea when, the chap said “in 20 minutes” half and hour ago but I’ve yet to hear anything.
