The only person mentally capable in the community of shutting it down is me anyway so quit playing around. Somebody will buy it and you'll get to see what a new era of schloggery looks like, maybe they'll even do Fun Stuff. Some of the offers also want to preserve the staff for the site so who knows, maybe someone will re-elect me to head janny. If the smaller bidders pool together their money for janny spots on the new site, who knows? Maybe we will have a real working democrasoy, which is something the community (and myself more specifically) has been trying to chase for awhile.
