ITS THE END OF THE SHLOG AS WE KNOW IT AND I FEEL FINE

 
The site isnt shutting down and anyone saying they will buy it to shut it down is messing with you for upboats. The only person mentally capable in the community of shutting it down is me anyway so quit playing around. Somebody will buy it and you'll get to see what a new era of schloggery looks like, maybe they'll even do Fun Stuff. Some of the offers also want to preserve the staff for the site so who knows, maybe someone will re-elect me to head janny. If the smaller bidders pool together their money for janny spots on the new site, who knows? Maybe we will have a real working democrasoy, which is something the community (and myself more specifically) has been trying to chase for awhile.

What if mist buys it
 
The site is shutting down and I intent on buying it and shutting it down regardless of if it's already shut down when I get it.

I would love it if whoever gets to own the blog get rids of the brimstone captcha, or at least replaces it with one not so cancerous
