If homosexuality truly is genetic, which I doubt, the only finality of homosexuality being legalized is the slow disappearance of homosexuals as dominant genes express themselves in the inability to reproduce (not being attracted to men for females and to females for men). So in a theoretical world where all homosexuals marry, they'll disappear.
I'm a bit confused by how this big flaw in the queer political ideology went unnoticed

Because the west has accepted philosophies like liberalism and humanism into its culture. Since it's two consenting adults then it's allowed. If you believe in those philosophies then it's logical for you to think homosexuality should be legal. Even if people don't know what those philosophies mean, they can still follow them unconsciously due to it being mixed up with their culture. Hence why most westoids support trans heckin rights.
