>Umm obviously all of our problems today are because of like nominalism promoted by William of Ockham in the 1300s
>Umm obviously all of our problems today are because Formalism beat Intuitionism in the math community in the 1800s
>It's not Jews or Black people that stuff is just a symptom okay?

Everything up until 2014 was good.
That's when fucking minimalism slop became mainstream and everything good died out. Literally the only good thing that came out of the mid 2010's was five nights at freddies. The rest of the decade sucked ass, which was a huge shame because 2010-2013 was gemmy.

It hasn't. Not yet at least. We need one more big event for things to really go to shit.
Financial Crisis in 2008 pushed us back a bit and led to the Occupy Wallstreet protests in 2011, but nothing happened from that and everything mostly recovered just fine, then Covid hit in 2020 and although that led to a lot of riots and protests, layoffs and the wider culture remaining stagnant for more than four years we're getting closer to the light at the end of the tunnel.
One more event in the current culturial climate thoughever would the nail in the coffin.
