that's why it's upside down retard
Although
>Upside down symbol means it's the opposite of the symbol and therefore le good becomes le bad
Is the same logic satanists used for the inverted cross cymbol and most of them still have to figure out that it's just peter's cross, kek.
This is especially relevant within the metal community, with retards even doing the cross symbol but inverted (they're just doing the main bar a bit lower), as if it meant anything at all.

Tradition tells us that Peter willingly chose to die this way because he felt unworthy to die the same way his saviour did.

The upside down american flag has its own meaning. I think 'mutt soldiers use it as a symbol to signal others that they're in trouble or something. I know this from the spec ops game.
It can be used as both a symbol of distress or of disrespect towards the American government. The way I see it, these sorts of upside-down symbols are subjective dependent on who exactly is inverting them. Even if the inverted cross is the cross of Saint Peter, the intention of the Satanic use of it is an act of hatred towards Christ (and, through its misuse, Saint Peter himself, as well), so there is a dual meaning that exists, determined by the context of the symbol itself and who is inverting it.

I deleted my post because aedra already said the same thing but yes I think your answer is more thorough

What does that mean?
I actually don’t know the full extent of it, but I’d see it as they wear golden cross necklaces while doing whatever they want. It seems to be the halfway option where they embrace worldly things while keeping a toe in the religious out of hopes of bailing them out

What does that mean?
"Cultural Catholicism refers to the phenomenon whereby people cling to certain traditions of their Catholic faith even when they do not profess to believe what the Church teaches on faith and morals, and do not practice the faith in a regular manner."
