majority of scholars say that it's permissible but discouraged
it's dependent on the intention, if you're using it to cheat at natural bodybuilding shows or intentionally harm yourself it is considered sinful but i'm not doing either of those
i know it sounds like mental gymnastics but God knows best, and if I am doing something wrong in his eyes, it's my fault
