Reading Doll's comment on his AMA, I think there is literally no way to save the sharty anymore

The sharty's culture has been dying for months, and it's biggest thing rn is still slopjaks, which is an exclusive 'ru creation.
Most of the people who used to be part of oldfag culture have left, and it seems like the average age of the sharty user has decreased a lot.
I can't attest to the difference in gore spam and political discussions, but my guess is that those too have increased.

It seems to me there's been a downward spiral going on where the site gets shittier, and good productive members leave, making the site shittier, making decent members leave, et cetera.
I blame that mostly on the bad actors that are 'cord members, obsessed splinter spammers and overly sensitive political teenagers who spam gore at the first offense, but also on the fact that nothing interesting has been happening, or at least less and less. But the two are correlated, bad actors who are usually teenagers are incapable of patience and participation in slowburn projects, therefore there are none.

And it isn't going to be better, it's just gonna keep getting worse until the sharty turns into the jarty, and that's the bottom line.

The only way one could save the sharty is by somehow getting rid of all the bad actors, which is something every admin has been trying and failing to do, and somehow bring in more good posters, but I honestly don't see how that happens.
Don't get me wrong I wish for the sharty to succeed, but I don't think it's possible at this state

I have been feeling like spending time on the sharty is like boarding a sinking ship and it's really disheartening hearing people talk about it's downwards trajectory. Sometimes I even ask myself if it's worth making anymore OCs or if it's just best to cut my losses (time wise). But who knows, maybe we get a miracle and nuadmin makes the sharty great again. If not I'll probably just end up lingering around the soysphere for a while until it gets too bad to bear

I blame doll, the weekly admin changes, the degenerate culture that the site has now. I believe that the sharty is doomed, and that soy culture only has a chance on splinters or alternative sites (like this one, not a splinter doe, u know what I mean), or if it infests other sites like it did on 4chan's /qa/. The sharty was a joke site anyways. Basically the site was doomed after kuz left and doll fucked everything else, started the soypocalypse, infested the site with trannitors that permabanned you for no reason other than pissing them off.

The sharty isn't drying, it's just hitting a bad patch. It would only take the site being stable and the catalog being swept to get it back to at least the average 16k to 20k ppd it had under the start of the root era. 12k posts per day on a day where the site is actively being ddosed is not bad. All it would take is a compitant admin, a compitant dev, and jannies who swept. That is it.

I'm not someone who has left, and i am someone who is VERY familiar with crating high effort OC, i have led the 2 Lainchan GET thefts, voiced Troons drift and 3 seperate voice acting threads, discovered an entirely new syndrome (Sharty Fixation Syndrome), have made a small batch of car-soyjaks and even wrote an Sissy Andrew Tate x Miss Circle erotica on /nate/, i consider myself a great soyteen, there should just be more people like me.

I can deal with that if the site works when I get past it. If the hcaptcha means bots and 'p spammers are inhibited (or whatever it does) I can accept that. The issue is the site is not stable and jannies don't sweep all the time.
