The 200 year rule is a dealbreaker. What if WW3 breaks out and you're forced to live in ruins for the next few hundred years? Or the world just generally goes to shit and you only spend your time remniscing about when life was better.

If you’re immortal you can just fuck around since you don’t need food or water and you can’t die anyways. It’s not like you’ll have to fight for survival like everyone else.

You still have to fight to have a life worth living. Sure you could abandon society and live in an isolated hut somewhere, but I wouldn't be up for doing that several centuries.

You get an offer by a genie, an angel, God, whatever to become immortal. I mean that you stop aging at late 20's/early 30's, and live as long as you like. If you die, you immediately heal. You have the choice to die whenever you want just by thinking with conviction "Kill me now," provided that you have lived longer than 200 years. Before that age, you can't die even if you want to.

Wouldn’t care lol; I’d just get a new one and then another new one. Though it is sad that I’d have to see my family which provided for me and brought me into this world perish. At least I their heir and son would be living on and keeping their name around forever
