Would you become immortal?

Memory loss is a thing chud, living for too long will prove to be not worth it. Also being inmortal doesn't make you unstoppable. Imagine being trapped for 200 years on some cliff then acking after the time limit where you can't die is gone
Better live extra 50 years and die after a century than to be a beggar with 500 years tax evading

Yes.
By the time Earth has been destroyed and I'm floating through space, I would've already trained my mind to make it's own "physical" reality for me to live in.

just watch your step, duh
how often do people get trapped places where they don't have an exit

God gives you immortality but he also secretly turns that AI from I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream real. Now you have to experience the worst sufferimg a human can experience for 200 years.

even if immortality has these attributes, i still would not choose it since every person that you meet (your loved ones, etc.) would eventually die. if you ever plan on having kids, you'd see them die too. that, and the fact that the brain would be mush if the brain reached a certain threshold of memories in the brain.

you'll see grandma die anyways unless you're planning to die young
everyone who lives for long enough sees their loved ones die off one by one
it's not some kind of insurmountable obstacle, just something that happens

Having such a power would make you be able to do a great service to humanity. If you immediately heal upon death you would be able to do the most dangerous, most fatal jobs in the world without the risk of losing your life. Aging stopping in the 20s-30s would also mean that your health of mind would also stay consistent through out the years. Just imagine what opportunities this could bring. You could put your skills to good use for as much time as you would like. You could be a great engineer, scientist, doctor, entertainer, protector of peace, etc. For any amount of time past the 200 year mark. Imagine building a spaceship capable of leaving our solar system and explore the stars beyond. Imagine how many lives you could save in this amount of time. Imagine how many lives you could better in this amount of time. The possibilities are as numerous as your mind can comprehend. I would say yes to that.
