If price isn't a variable to consider in this choice, either french high end cuisine or texan BBQ. I've had texan BBQ once in my life, I can now never go back tbh.
If price is involved, raw pasta with a side of tapwater
theres a good spot in dallas stockyards area
really nice barbecue
they also have bottomless option too

I've had a hankering for meatloaf all week. I don't like when they put those big chunks of raw onion in it though. The joy of meatloaf is its homogeneity
I certainly agree, the onion has no purpose in meatloaf. Meat is what embodies it, and what is good of it. I would be eating a loaf of onion if I wanted to taste such a flavor.

Sweets: Pecan Pie, with Cinnamon Rolls and Pound Cake in a close second.
Savory: Probably some sort of pasta.. When it's of high quality there is hardly anything better in the world than a Roman style Pasta (Carbonara, Gricia, Amatriciana). Gnocchi is also very good, but I think we want something with some meat in it though... Meatballs are also very good. I love Italian food, if you couldn't tell. But I also like classic "American" northern European dishes like meatloaf with mashed potatoes or a nice steak with some french bread on the side.
