i'm not much of a history person but sometimes i wonder how the world would be different if the soviets had managed to implement major reforms and get things stable again. whether or not that was even possible is something i'm not sure about, but let's just say it happened. would you prefer the current timeline or one where the USSR survived?
and what do you think the situation with china would be like today had the soviets made it to the 21st century? would we be dealing with 3 superpowers?
from what i remember one of the main reasons why the union fell is that relations with the PRC had mostly fallen apart. i'm just talking out of my ass though.
