Shintoism doesnt condemn much at all I think. You could just as easily pay respect to the spirit of rape and murder as you could the spirit of gas station sushi or however it works. Either way I think the Japanese widely dislike gays and view being fruity as something to be embarrassed about.

Homo shit has been legal in Japan since 1882, much earlier than even the most liberal shitholes, and even prior to 1882 it was only banned under western pressure. Whatever "traditional" Japanese culture is, it clearly doesn't take any issues with faggots.
