I was obsessed with fire emblem as a teenager too for similar reasons.
I guess I lied though, I wasn't 100% in it for waifufag shit. I forgot that I was also a major jojo fan as a teenager before I finished all the ones that were notgay enough to tolerate and got over it. I still have a pesci figure and a josuke figure. Part 4 was my favorite btw.

I must lie and hide the parts of myself I am ashamed of for fear of being abandoned or spurned by the world. I pick my own faults apart just as much as those of others, and thus cannot live with myself. So I have learned to use anonymous platforms as my confession booth. Most of the flaws and sins that try to convince me I am a bad person are silly and viewed objectively are no big deal, but I still am not yet able to look at them objectively without the suggestions of others.
