Shit No One Cares About The modern sharty's obsession with "ias" is destroying its culture

go to 4chan if you want serious discussion.
the 'cuck's /sci/, /his/, and /lit/ are awful and not worth posting in. /k/ and /x/ are shadows of thier former selves. /biz/ was /qa/'ed and /pol/ is a honeypot. We can fill those niches. And by filling those niches, we empower /soy/ and /qa/.

Honestly this. Why the fuck are sci and x so inactive? They°re 2 of the boards with the most potential
I used to be active on /sci/ but got out of the habit of using it. Maybe I should start blogposting about marge.moe's development there again like I used to.

She has a point.

Better yet, let's have a shlog side operation/project that bleeds into /sci/. Like we can each rotate on making a thread about something /sci/ and we each can give our 2 cents in the threads. We can coordinate here, so we don't step on each other toes and keep the threads ideas fresh. We can continue this until more people post there and we can go buck wild.

I'll make a thread for said operation today (maybe) and we can let it roll from there.

What I'm hearing is mostly purging bloat boards, which I agree with. Best to not confuse any newaryans. We have a lot of open and hidden boards to deal with, which I feel is annoying but better to hide than delete. I feel r9k and sude are redundant, with /qa/ and mtv taking up those roles, and yyy and fort are dead. FNAC still has potential but the tf2 server mostly resides in one-off threads during the weekends, so maybe hide until the summer. Replace chive with sudearchive or whatever archive tool the jannies fancy. The /interpol/ merge didnt go over so well but I'm wondering how a sci and x merge would do, probably not well but would be a fun event. Additionally, to meet the larger niches they should add /biz/ to the top bar, and maybe jak????
Oh and of course readd the bloggy.
I'm probably retarded but root listen to me and nobody else do this NOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

Why merge /sci/ and /x/ doe?

i think the PPH on /soy/ is actually too fast, shitposting is impossible there because every thread that isn't a blogpost, raid or bait near-instantly gets slid to the second half of the 'log (although i guess that's the kind of content the nusoi userbase prefers), a lot of the threads on /soy/ have nothing to do with soyjaks (aside from having a neutralplier or another generic reaction image soyjak attached) and seem like they would fit /qa/ better

It could help to have more posts per page, even with the new infinite scrolling, as there would be more room to keep threads alive and in focus
I would also like to see increased posts per applied to /raid/ as well

Threads per page was increased from 10 to 15 about three weeks ago.

It's not exactly "dying" but rather the decline in the quality of posts (except for raids doe, those are fun as hell).
<reddit space
My main pet peeve is the decline of 'jakking frequency and quality 'jakking, IMO the people who use soyjak images as an excuse to post shit nobody cares about on the sharty that are ruining /soy/
Delete /soy/, make /qa/ the main board
Personally i take a safe opinion on this and say i disagree, i like the current IAS board and NAS board format, it helps filter NAS content.
Albeit what you do say is true, if everyones a jakker, who stands out?

the thing is that most of the posts on /soy/ with soyjaks attached don't really have anything to do with soyjaks or even just shitposting, most of them are just serious posts but with a bald man woahjack attached (most likely with no arrow) so it doesn't get moved to some board no one uses
even the soyquotes seem halfassed, most of the time they seem like they're getting churned out by some bitter oldfag trying to preserve le sharde culture by making a bunch of 0 reply threads
soyjak.party has become just another 4cuck clone, and /soy/ has become its /b/

If you want to save the 'arty, start posting in the altboard that could have utility. /pol/, /biz/, /sci/, /raid/, etc... Soy has been stagnant user wise since it peaked with kuz. We need to promote other boards.
What about traditional jakking on /soy/?

After skimming over this thread for a bit i decided to post traditional 'jakking on /soy/ to see how people would react, so far two of them have been voiced over by different people which is what i personally consider an epic win:

Aw damn, thats a great arguement.
On one hand i disagree on the basis that the sharty hasn't completely been destroyed (it can still be saved), but on the other hand you are so right on the basis that soyteens these days simply don't care about improving themselves to make gemmier posts or to stop using the sharty as their personal schlogposting site, especally since this place is already a schlogposting site.

It's sad how jannies actually don't care about blogposters anymore

It's always been like this, you think people were spamming the same soyquotes over and over on /qa/ because they saw it as some form of art?
No, the point was to slide tranime threads off the 'log.
