I did not like Sonic Generations myself, generally if it has a boost button its a lower tier 3D sonic in my eyes (there aren't many good 3D sonics as is), but that was a step forward. Wisps are just there to be there

my lecture was a nothing burger so I just put my AirPods on and watched this instead. Here’s some of my thoughts:
- Sonic Rumble getting a PC port is neat. I loved the closed beta but unfortunately I haven’t had time to play much of the regionlocked beta.
- It’s cool that Shadow will be in Sonic Dream Team, even if he’ll essentially be a model swap of Sonic and Amy, but I thought Hardlight were against having him in the game due to him having no reason to be there. Hopefully this means we can get other characters in the too, perhaps the Chaotix?
- New Chao Show is neat, can’t wait to see more.
- Is Banana Rumble any good? It looks better than gay ass Banana Mania but I hated how the redesigns looked, so I haven’t touched it. Also calling it the “best Monkey Ball game in 20 years” is a disservice to Banana Splitz for the Vita, as that game was actually quite good and the closest the series had been to its roots in quite some time.
- I’m digging the TopGolf game mode. I love TopGolf so once I’m on break from college I’m definitely getting a couple friends to play this with me. But first, I need to actually learn how to play golf lol
- The DC comic collaboration is cool but I trust DC as much as IDW as to say not at all. Also it’s written by Soyboy Flynn. The Tails x Cyborg mashup was a neat reference to Lost World though ever.
- I didn’t see anything particularly new in the SxSG trailer but it was still an epic final preview. I’m glad there’s a glimpse of Mephiles. We even get to fight him in Dusty Desert. I still think he’s the secret puppetmaster of Shadow Generations though. We still need a level from Shadow 05, but all I’ve seen is that we’re seeing Green Hill in some capacity, again…
- If you’re buying the Limited Run Games bundle, you are a low IQ consoomer retard and deserve to be shot by a GUN agent. Imagine fucking spending 250 dollars on something you won’t even get until July. Just import the Japanese collectors edition, it’s cheaper, comes with most of the same stuff and you can get it sometime near the release date.
- Can’t wait to talk about Dark Beginnings episode 1 tomorrow.
All in all, I didn’t have many expectations for this presentation but they were fortunately met. I wish we got a glimpse of more of the movie or future plans but it is what it is.
 
Currently arguing about who wins between Archie Sonic and Jiren with a Janny on /soy/ right now since he didn't ban me on sight.
Nice to know some Jan-jans aren't complete power-trippers.

Funnily enough, 9Axes is open-source to my knowledge.
Surely it wouldn't be hard for someone to make a Sonic fan type quiz no?

It's odd seeing the movie models in a playable form that isn't restrained to phones.
The level looks gorgeous visually but man, I hope the level design won't stink that bad in the final product, what we've saw so far consists of long corridors, the occasional spring and homing attack fodder, nothing too "outstanding" if you ask me.
