Over-rated redditslop filled with so much bloat and filler it's sickening.
The only good thing about that game was the music and the promotional material.
SA1 won xista.

I did not like sonic adventure 1, played the gamecube version and he's so clunky and he falls through the ground half the time, ngl didn't even finish it it was getting on my nerves. This convo isn't about that though. I'm too busy playing sonic generations.

Playing as santiago is pretty fun after I got over his funky physics but I hate sonic in this game, haven't liked any of his sections.
I'm glad you found some fun in the game, I don't mind Classic Sonic, I know his physics are kind of whack but he's still enjoyable to play as, the OP spin dash helps with it
Anyways just rebeat the game. I'm glad this port has no noticeable bugs, but all of the "enhancements" have done nothing but fuck up the game. Behead Ian Flynn.

Yeah I just beat the game, shorter than I expected tbh. Once I got over how off Santiago's physics were the game got better, it was alright IG, I just can't get into Sonic he feels very brittle with how crappily he takes the game's tight corners and boosting (ugh), also some of the levels were just not it, that sonic colors stage gave me AIDs. However I liekd the sonic 06 stage was prolly my favorite one in the game, I get this was an anniversary game too but it wasn't very original. I liked the challenge modes like the doppelganger races however, to me this game was very down the middle of the road so its about what I expected.

Shadow generations runs fine on my pc but it crashes whenever I use chaos control it crashes to desktop so I can't play it.

The wagie mixed my card up with a spare by accident yesterday, I went down for a refund fifteen minutes ago and he gave me the activated card I was supposed to get yesterday in response and took the unactivated one back off me.
I'm very very very very happy right now [wholesome] .

Oh my God it's just like my heckin funko popperinos.

Nobody likes Planet Wisp in Generations for both Sonics, such a slow, dull level that's 2D for most of it, genuinely what were they thinking.
My favorite stages were either Speed Highway or Rooftop Run, the ending of Classic Crisis City made me tard rage a lot as a kid
I'm gonna play Shadow Generations tomorrow, I wanna get some work done before I sleep, I have tests and assigments and shit

I think Sonic Generations would've benefitted from an actual final level. It doesn't even have to be anything particularly unique, it could be like End of the World where you're traveling through all the levels you completed being eaten by time, maybe some of Sonic's friends could help by making you use them to get through obstacles (e.g. using Amy's Piko Piko Hammer to launch you higher up, kind of like her challenge act in Chemical Plant), most importantly it'd kind of help with how sloggy the end of the game can kind of get. Once you're done with all the levels (with the final two levels being not very fun) you have to go through three boss fights, and I'm going to be honest, I don't really play Sonic for bossfights

WHY DOES EVERY GAME HAVE TO BE BAD, COME ONNNNNN UGHHHH

It could've benefitted from a final level that wasn't planet wisp, if I see a purple wisp again its getting shot because that level took me like 10 minutes to clear.
I don't really play Sonic for bossfights
I don't think anybody does, sonic bossfights have always been mid at best and the final bosses like to suffer from "final boss has to be a completely different game" syndrome and even going back to the beginning the cinematics have really been better than the fights themselves. I just don't think the platformer genre lends itself well to good bossights anyways, they aren't exceptional in any other platforming series I think of too.

You haven't played Sonic Adventure, you've played the inferior Sonic Adventure DX Directors Cut.
It may seem like a small difference but that's furthest from the truth, play the Steam release with the BetterSADX mod and enable "Dreamcast Conversion" in the BetterSADX setup application for the best experience.

Sonic Generations is notorious for being the only Sonic game everyone can agree on being pretty good, it's far from bad.
The Final Boss is kind of sucky though but if it ain't broke, don't fix it (same goes for Planet Wisp as certain parts of that level I really liked).
I WANTED to play this port....god damn it....
Feel free too, it's a pretty average side-grade at worst.
If you don't mind the new nothing-burger cut-scenes and the forced lore shoved into them, (MUH TIME STONES!!11!!!!) the Chao collecting and the Drop Dash, feel free to play the port as it's "meh" at worst.
It's pretty hard to fuck up Sonic Generations and this port only re-inforces that fact as it's still a pretty solid game despite the new flaws the (flaws in and of itself are personal opinion doe).

In the Classic games defense, they made the final bosses different as to throw the player off after a long game of exploiting the Rings and their invincibility frames after losing them to cheese bosses, they didn't do this in Sonic 4 Episode 1 and the final boss was cheesable as fuck because of it.
There's a lot of solid Sonic bossfights I love and a lot more solid final bosses out there that are a genuine fun challenge to beat but I suppose that's all down to personal opinion.
Oh my God it's just like my heckin funko popperinos.
It is, except I can pose it, display it and all the while it doesn't look like an alien with those big beady eyes. [wholesome]
