I almost always end up with female starters for some reason, even if I try to reset for a male one. I replayed XY and got a female Chespin, which I left in the box as a Chesnaught after I got Lucario from Korrina because I wanted to keep my Pancham and I had no reason to have 3 fighting types. I only really intentionally get one of a certain gender if it's a shefag Pokémon so that I can say he out of spite.
Brimmy, the only good mons here are Whimsicott, Gengar, and Raichu if I'm feeling nice. Sylveon and all of the eeveelutions are monotype coal, but especially tranneon.

I like Umbreon and vaporeon can actually be good even doe there's usually better water types to use
Their stats actually are pretty good, I used a Jolteon in Pkmn Red, but they're just popular dex padding after that. I extremely disagree with the popular sentiment that they need to add more eevees because its already 9 places in the dex, and they're very uninteresting to me.
Umbreon is a crappy dark type, its like all of the first dark types. Vaporeon is brim.
Pokemon isn't a nintendo game, its its own thing.
I remember on one of my first times playing Pokemon crystal wasting all my money on haircuts and vitamins and training Eevee for hours so that it'd like me because I really wanted to have an Umbreon
