Trvke, the (((writers))) can't handle making the bad guys somewhat threatening or successful so they're all written as retards, which in turn makes the good guys look even more useless and retarded
Or at least that's how it looks idk the only exposure I have to this show are BigBunjee's videos on them, I don't want to waste time watching something I won't like

Isn't Doomslayer just, like, a guy? I mean... I assume he's somewhat enhanced but What feats does he even have? Obviously Kratos beats him, Kratos literally fights gods.
This kind of reminds me of an argument I got in about powerscaling Greek mythological figures in Dragon Ball. These were my rankings:
Trojan War heroes: Emperor Pilaf saga. Capable of fighting large cohorts of warriors at once. A few like Achilles and Diomedes have outlier feats but mostly they're just refined mortal warriors
Theseus: Mid-late Dragon Ball. Probably continent-level based on his feat of overpowering the Minotaur, who can cause earthquakes with only his roar
Heracles: Stronger than Super Perfect Cell. Dabura-level? Obviously his greatest mythological feat is being able to hold up the heavens, which seems at least solar-system level. There are two other reasons to consider Heracles at least SPC level:
1) Heracles was the earliest figure identified with the Vajrapani, the protector of the Buddha, who himself is multiversal in the source material for Dragon Ball (Journey to the West)
2) Heracles is actually in Dragon Ball, or at least in the filler Otherworld arc, under the name Olibu. He is a bit weaker than Pikkon, who has a much harder time against him than he does against Perfect Cell. So it is fair to assume that Olibu is stronger than Perfect Cell.
Pretty much all of the gods: GoD level or higher.
Zeus: Grand Zeno level

The GoW gods are super nerfed for the record, they are only gods of their respective countries. The actual Odin, who is much easier to powerscale than the more definitively immortal Greek gods, is certainly universal because he generates the universe with his brothers.

Yeah, I actually just ran the numbers on that full power ear clap from Cronos in III (500 meters tall) that he just said no to and forced apart, and it came out to at least 8.5 million tons of force he immediately brought to a halt then parted. There's also the fact that neither Kratos was completely flattened nor did he go through Cronos' hand, so their physiques are both obscenely tough. Later in that fight, Kratos slashes a massive wound into his stomach causing intestines to spill out, so it has to be a good 50ish meters of pure thick, hard skin that could withstand the previous impact on a tiny point. He also killed the gods that subjugated the titans, so there's that. On top of that, he's nimble on his feet and has ranged and semi-ranged options to contend with Slayer's guns, in addition to grabs that can steal glory kills and turn them into projectiles. I don't get why people say he wins this one. And to think I at one point thought MGR Raiden could trade blows with Kratos. lol. Even him flipping Metal Gear Excelsus over from his horrible point of leverage doesn't come close

It's an interesting thought experiment to place irl mythological canons in these hypotheticals. It's a lot more reasonable to assume that the heavens and the earth means literally everything and gives you some crazy numbers. Tangentially related, I rooted for Omni Man in the latest slop battle purely because it would be funny if he won, and it was deeply so

When I was young I used to seethe over death battle results I was unhappy with and would get in arguments in the comment section. I spent a lot of time arguing about the Mario vs Sonic one so I was happy when Mario won the new one even though it gets a lot of hate

Because you don't need the characters able to destroy multi ultra omni complex outerverses to tell a compelling story. Unfortunately the boys has neither a compelling story nor interesting 'powerscaling
