There's a real potential to lose a good part of /soy/ culture on a blog if you don't keep the userbase in check to a degree.

I still think profile updates are useless, but what I'm starting to think might unironically be a good idea is this :

Compulsory IAS pfps (toads are exempt). Might be a bit irealistic, but I don't really wanna see soyjaks become a minority to anime pfps, that'd be laughable.
Also enforcing NAS deletion on (you) or whatever

I think we should just ban anime pfps. They can find gay soyjak pfps to use instead of anime girls, it will show us what they really are. Give them a week to change their profiles and after that, permaban them

Troons will always be a problem tho, as you said. So in the offchance we can at least moderate a bit this trend, I think forcing pfps to be sharty related is a good thing. Two birds one stone, we keep sharty culture relevent

I like seeing non soy related pfps doe, as long as the majority is soy related.

That the culture changes is inevitable.
However, unlike the 'ru or the 'arty, the 'rum changes in way that slowly drifts away from soyboy woahjacks.
It builds around namefags since it has not really any other thing to gravitate around, and doesn't actually make stuff for the sake of it, which is the core of an evolving culture.
Save a few gemmy users like Rot, doedoedoedoedoedoedoedoe, sleepchvd and company. But they are drawfags ofc, but that's not sufficient.
