Discussion ITT we name essential poonercore media

Weezer is a pretty popular band overall in terms of geeky 90s/early 00s rock, but even before the memes a majority of people either knew "Say It Ain't So", "Buddy Holly" or "Hash Pipe" from the green album and "Beverly Hills" from Make Believe. "Island in the Sun" as well probably, but that song is shit.

Essentially what happened with Tally Hall (Ruler of Everything being spread on mass back in 2021) sort of happened with the Blue Album by Weezer.
weezer's only good song is I Just Threw Out The Love Of My Dreams

The only weezer track I know is ruling me because it was in a need for speed game

i never used the old internet because i was a toddler or nonexistant when it was happening (2008-2010ish) but looking at archives and screenshots it is fucking outrageous how much people used to get away with back then
niggas on the 'cuck would actively talk about saving 'p like it was funny
On the flipside I find it interesting how dull or mundane some of it was though, I remember stumbling upon this random site where it was just this informational page about this guy and his life and how he's been married, what he does, etc, then you had photos of him and his wife, his friends just standard shit, nothing sinister or malicious and he looked like he was around 35-43 years old.
It was sort of a blog but it wasn't because it was straightforward text and then you had the images on another page of the site. But it's interesting to me because there were hundreds of people like this guy with their own personal little worlds and their own sites

And of course every topic of discussion or interest had a forum designated to that topic, even Gorillaz had their own forum for awhile back in the early-mid 00s.

the only reason people have "nostalgia" over this stuff is because it's really just a trend, along with stuff somewhat related to it like frutiger aero. a large ammount of them are also zoomers who have little to no remembrance to this era
Internet trends are so fucking obnoxious and surface level, more so than actual real world fads

>The degenerates of soyjak.party
>Hi, I'm Turkish Todd and I'm back at it with another banger of a video about Soycuck.Sharty, these are the degenerates of Soycuck.Sharty
