it tastes like if you were to put a cup of sugar into a 1 1/2 cup of water, with some flavoring, but the fizz gives it this bite which offsets the sugar and makes it taste not so sweet. Like, the fizz offsets the sweetness where it tastes almost hot, like a jalepeno pepper, but without the kick.
