this is gonna sound really weird but im starting to feel sorry for george floyd. i dont hate him. i never did and i'm not racist.
i don't think he deserved to die. if i were god, i would just have him be arrested and not die, not get famous, etc. it'd be the good ending.
a part of me wants to make a game about that kind of world, a world where george goes to jail for something petty and then finally gets his shit together. but we're in this world, in this timeline.
when i make game projects, i usually like to make them out of passion or out of the urge to express something artistically, which is why something like this would be hard to do. it would have to be 100% parody and disclose the fact that it is parody, i don't want anyone to play a game like this and come away with the idea that it was a racist game made for people who hate george floyd or something like that, i'd like for it to exist solely because george floyd is a famous man who should not be famous.
im not a christian but sometimes i can be really forgiving, i'd like to imagine that george was tweaking out in heaven or hell when he heard people were praising him like a martyr. jesus probably gave him a visit like "what the fuck have you done, lil nigga. this is NOT how I raised my children." and george was probably like "yeah shit man like fuck im sorry blood like idek what to say no more im a failure cuh and this whole damn world gone lost they damn minds cuh like for real they be robbin buildings n shit just cus a nigga died like what the fuck our whole generation is fucking lost man clearly lost. and my mama, im so god damn sorry. i fucked up real bad, i deserve this, i deserve this punishment. i hope you can forgive me one day jesus"
if i make this, that'd be the message i want to express. i dont find genuine racism funny, but george floyd is a very interesting character, famous for all the wrong reasons. i like to imagine the creepypastas exist because they parody his death and his fame, black people tend to gain a notoreity after simply dying so much so that it's just funny. like i can imagine xxxtentacion or whatever the fuck nigga rapper that died due to drug overdose is meeting george floyd or something like "ayoo shieet welcome to the club mayn"
i feel like making a game about exploring hell through the eyes of someone who's made a lot of mistakes, whilst being praised on earth, would be interesting, so, essentially, the more i think about this project, the more i think about expanding it to match multiple perspectives and try to balance out all the wrongs or all the jokes i might make about george's fentanyl addiction or his pregnant woman robbing addiction, or simply stick to the scripts as much as possible and make a collection of george floyd .exe games which just adapt already existing media as to separate or distance myself from it in a way because for some reason it just feels wrong for me to constantly scold someone like that for the same thing, i mean seriously, yeah i get it he loves fent and robbed a pregnant woman but that is it, he doesn't even seem that horrible or evil he did what like 2 bad things and thats it like honestly im ignorant if he did more bad things let me know because im telling you guys idek what the point of making "george floyd creepypastas" even is, like its interesting and funny that it exists but like, those days are over like, the george floyd rage baiting just wont have the same effect like at all.
this is kind of a really complicated idea so much so that i feel like parodying myself making the game inside of the game itself just to try and really cement the idea that this is a 1000% parody game nobody should take seriously. i guess that's why this idea felt weird, cus of muh feelings or some shit.
