You can't force anybody to do anything, but morally-speaking you really shouldn't as he was just another poor guy in the world who had unfortunately hit rock bottom, he had been facing a lot of issues in his personal life apparently, some of it probably brought on from being a war veteran, but he had also lost his job during the pandemic and recently broke up with his girlfriend close to the time it happened, an irony of it is that I feel like a lot of people here could probably relate to him, even empathize with him and his predicament.

Also, there was no stopping him, whoever called him on the livestream right before he did it wasn't going to change his mind, he had his mind made up for quite awhile by the time he did it. Fucking grim.

This is why I might adopt a child instead of reproducing. I have empathy issues since the information age is this bad but I learn to put up with it and use it for my owns gain to think and not let emotions cloud me.
