The question is not whether the moon landing was real, by this thread it's obvious that the actual question is “Do you support the idealized image of the United States or not?”, so that's why people react like their personal beliefs, not historical facts, have been attacked.

I looked into the evidence and the "debate" for a long while and basically got nowhere. I choose to believe it though because black activists in the 1960s happened to be the first to deny it

Shit seems fishy and the whole "we lost the technology!" just reeks of bullshit. I'll believe it when we revisit (which we haven't because you can't go through the fuckin DOME)
Organizations are retarded and usually the knowledge on how to do something is retained in documentation (that people never make or maintain), or one or two specific people that were there for 30 years.

Turnover induces corporate amnesia.

This is especially true in manufacturing, all it takes is for one guy to lose a map of where everything is and the rest of it needing to be catalogued again at a later date, or rebuilt from the ground up, this is why in corporate settings every little thing is noted now, at the cost of immense beauracracy

If it was fake then there would've been witness testimonies and evidence about it being fake. It makes more sense they actually got there because of the space race

Half of this websites userbase doesn't believe in the moon landing.... What conspiracy is this apart of again, THA JOOOS?
