/calm/ Christian music thread

If you're catholic listen to Mozart. If you're protestant listen to Bach. There. That is the only music that is wholesome trad chungus
>Listen to mozart ev&o freemasonry was condemned by the catholic Church or something like that yeah

Bach is they key of all keys though, respect for this choice.

Since I'm in my church choir, I have a whole hymnal of songs for mass. It's called "Breaking Bread" or something; they release a new version every year.

Also, @encrusting_acro, thought on this ?

This band actually introdued me to extreme metal back in the days when I thought that metal and loud music = satanism. Never turned back
Eh, it's mid I guess. machine/Triggered drums puts me off a bit, and the tuning is a bit high.

Personally, I don't think worship music fits together with extreme metal very well. If death metal were to include Christian themes, I think it should be telling stories of the Bible or saints, or delving into more of the "esoteric" side of Christianity.

I know you dislike deathcore but fuck your shit tastes in metal, but while I don't listen to christian metal bands anymore for this exact reason : they're a bit mid, I do still like some songs of the band Impending Doom, which is another christian band.
Though they're hardcore american protestants and anti-catholics, most of their songs have Isaiah-like lyrics about the doom of the unjust and the destruction of the godless man, so ig this could work.
