9/4/2024 - 1st day of school...

... and final year of high school. This likely be my most real, and arguably hopeful, year yet. I have English, Data Management, Philosophy (subject to change Chemistry) and Technology. Today I didn't follow the schedule that I outlined for myself, but it's okay because I did the only thing I really cared for at the beginning and will now do the other most cared-for thing. One of those 2 things was to stretch when I woke up. I think it worked in terms of waking me up, but DAMN do I need to eat more and lay off the sweets. The second is to work a little on my job. I'll be doing that after I submit my English for today. Other than that, I met some of my friends. I had an unexpected surprise during 1st-period class, as my friend also goes there. A goal I have is to get better at sleeping, as in, when I hit the pillow it doesn't take me longer than an hour to go to sleep. So far tossing and turning in bed while my eyes are closed works, but I find it inconsistent, and the main issue is that I really gotta stop using screens at least 2 hours before bedtime. Perhaps I can ask @baqqrih for some bedtime Bible stories. Or more likely what Bible verse I should read.
The end of the fourth Psalm mentions sleeping well and safely under the guidance of The Lord, so maybe memorizing and reciting the Psalm before bed could help cozy your soul into a slumber each night. The third chapter of Proverbs shares a similar message, but a bit more briefly, alongside other words that speak of God's protection over us.

Would it be better if I read with or without context related to the quote?
It's a pretty short Psalm, you could read the whole thing pretty quickly, and it'd certainly be better that way. That's what I meant, memorizing the whole thing eventually.

My senior year went by quick, and though I didn't really like it I still miss it sometimes. Be sure to have fun while you're there, and try to make connections. I know I sound like a broken record but ending HS on a high note is something I wish I could've done.
You've probably already heard this a million times but do not let your grades slip. So many people (including myself) have done that and it's very stressful. Even when it starts getting close to graduation you shouldn't start letting yourself compromise on stuff. I was very lucky that I managed to scramble and fix things, and I don't know what I would've done if I failed to graduate.
This is kinda the last time of your life where you'll be "on rails". Once it's over, everything is up to you.
As for the sleep thing, I think you should look into tea. I don't drink it myself but a lot of people I know say it makes it easier to sleep.
Hope everything goes well.

have you tried turning the blue light filter on your screens off saar?

Failed to do my schedule again. Will likely have to change it due to my tardiness, especially since 11:00 p.m. is when I should ALREADY be asleep, not enter my bed. At least the weekends are an exception, in theory at least. I likely will have to apply a more lax version of my schedule for the sake of consistency because humans are weird like that (by weird I mean I neither have the control nor competence to do everything manually). Based off of my observations and personal experience, my schedule will likely look like this instead
- Wake up: 6:45 A.M
- Do some basic stretches with the lights on. 6:45-7:00
- Eat some food: 7:00-7:45 [Consume some black tea]
- leave to go to school: 7:45
- school: 8:05-2:45
At this point, it will depend on my after-school activities:
A- (A club)
- whatever it is after school: (depends, no more than 2 hours no less than 1) 2:45-3:45 PM
- go home: 3:45-4:00 PM
- eat: 4:00-4:30 PM [Consume some black tea]
- job: 4:30-5:30 PM
- homework: 5:40-7:00 PM
- Read part C

B- (B nothing after school)
- get home: 3:00 PM
- eat some food: 3:00-3:30 PM
- job: 3:35-4:35 PM
- homework: 4:30-7:00 PM
- read part C

C- after 7:00 PM
- shower time: 7:00-7:30 PM
- free time: 7:30-9:00
- read 9:00-10:00 (could be cancelled altogether)
Sleep until the next day

That is likely to be my new schedule.

Same thing but on a different day.

I really gotta stop playing Mein Kampf I mean Minecraft. I played ZOGpixel (zog because... BECAUSE IT JUST IS, OKAY????) today instead of doing my math HW. I am gigacooked if I don't stop. I should also be drinking more water. I drink around 3.8 Litres for school, but barely 1 Litre over the weekend. Gotta start watermaxxing. Technically, the -maxxing suffix is used for either quality not quantity. Take looksmaxxing or gymmaxxing. The former is when your face improves in quality and the latter is when the quantity of your time in the gym increases. SOmething like that.. yeah...
Anyways, I am now doing my math HW and hopefully I will have enough time to put shit in order and some other stuff.

Blud I can't stop laugh
ing about this video. Pepe is just too much of a Gem to NOT laugh with/at.

It has been some time since the last time I have posted. The last couple of days were wild. I have been staying up later than normal but seemingly not going into some state of severe mental discomfort. I guess the caffeine in black tea really does work wonders. I hope to sleep a LOT during the weekends. I have a lot of job hours to do, Around 44+5*4 = 64 by the end of the week. I am planning to do it on Friday and Saturday. Hopefully, I will have finished my mathematics homework and progressed significantly in my other 2 subjects. I will likely only have 6¾ hours of sleep. Big yikes, but not the end of the world. Additionally, I hope that on Sunday I can make it to church at my local Eastern Orthodox church. Anyway, I hope everyone who cares has a good night and see you tomorrow.

I gotta go to sleep soon, lest I lose more hours of sleep. I don't know what to write here anymore. I should only come here when I need to, rather than want. As in, some of the people here are quite gemmy and that is why I come here.

My father told me he wanted to clean and change the mats for his Toyota Sienna today; however, my mother convinced him to wait until tomorrow. I am afraid that I am cooked when it comes to my academic career. I don't value my work or pride myself in school, except technology and mathematics, and all the time is spend being moody towards shit like English or Philosophy. I am just worried that because of this mood I will kill any motivation I have to work and do anything productive with my life.

Broke my self promise to not go on the schlog for a week to tell you that adding the '-caca' suffix to [INSERT NOUN HERE] is the most HILARIOUS thing ever! I crack up every time I think about it.
