The soyboys that soyjaks spawned from tend to have more left wing or liberal opinions with things such as polygamy and the like. I think some people who are obsessed about politics that are in the left wing sphere might be apprehensive to engage in this sort of space since it makes fun of people who are just enjoying things and living their life or whatever and also are politically aligned somewhat. The current right wing nature of the soysphere might also deter anyone who cant hold a conversation with people who differ politically in any way from coming here so the site stays the same as a result.

I would hope not. Broot won't add rules against racism and homophobia (as well as any other -ism or -phobia) and that in itself is a huge red flag. Some users (like the one with the sw*stika as his pfp) I would definitely consider alt-right and I would like to think this isn't representative of the rest of the userbase.

It's not a red flag, what that means is that we're free to discuss what we please here. Just because we tolerate certain folk here doesn't necessarily mean we support their ideologies or beliefs.
