These have overlap together so if you pick one, the person will have traits of the other two. Personally, I'd pick deeply understand because I think I'd be able to have the most interesting conversations with them, I don't really get the concepts of feeling loved or respected in context to myself. What do you guys think?
 
I’d prefer someone who respects me, since that’s the most merit-based category of the three groups and it could seep into the other two if our interactions are deep enough, which they very much could be. Understanding could still be distant and disdainful of you, and love isn’t always a very stable basis of emotion without other factors bearing in.
 
'Someone who deeply understands you' is the best option because of what you mentioned. If they understand you to a deep level then you can talk about almost anything with them. The other options are not as good.

Doesn't exclude the possibility of them being some sort of obsessive psychopath

Doesn't necessarily mean they have any sort of attachment to you or feel any kind of affection.
 
What ISTANBUL said, I'd personally want someone who understands me enough to the point where i can actually talk to them without having a second thought or stops

Uhh maybe either deeply understands or loves, i have many people who like me irl such as really close best friends, but most times xhey dont get me or why i do some things
But someone can understand u but in a negative way too and hate on u, and thats evil doe so probably some1 who loves me [wholesome]

Understanding is an oxymoron. Anyone who understands you well will in time know you better than you yourself do, and inevitably look down upon you. You will cease being a human in their eyes, and after "le deep conversations" inevitably get stale they will see you as nothing more than a pet dog that comes salivating when the bell rings.

Nobody did. I simply took the premise and expanded upon it. You dont need to project to dismiss it.
I'd say its a pretty accurate picture of some middle-aged couples I knew personally, maybe even a little too generous, considering the "dog owner" in the relationship more often than not starts resenting the "puppy".
