PrincessSparkles asks the question of whether it would be cool or not to just make a clone version of yourself and marry it, would it be good or bad?
Discuss.

My answer to this is no, first of all, it's incest, second of all, it would be a nightmare, if it was just you but genderbent, you will quickly come to hate it.

If i was a clone I wouldn't want to steal real-me's place in the world so I don't think I'd have to kill him or anything.

cloning yourself is a nightmare
it will do things you want to do making you unable to do them
you will distrust your clone by nature. only 1 should exist, but killing 1 means to kill yourself.

right so my basis of this as baqqrih put quite nicely , the clone is a mirror image of me as a man so literally just add more masculine features to mine, and my personality traits would be the same.
for example, im extroverted, i like working with materials and i like books and football and keeping muscles. a man like me would be this but manifested in a manly way, so my clone but still a man, since obviously a man with my personality would show it in a different way, right?
so on this basis that person in my opinion would be THE BEST like this clone obviously would be super attractive to me because it’s me, and i’d agree with them and we’d have the same line of thought.
so soygoy is saying it’s like incest and it’s gross but if we move past that (i know i know just try to) it’s very feasible to say marrying your own clone would be PERFECT

I guess, in this hypothetical, it would also depend on preference of attraction. For example, if you'd rather your partner have other features distinct to your own (as I mentioned earlier in this thread, in my own instance, there's a preference here, in that I'd like mine to be shorter than myself and would prefer an Eastern European ethnic composition rather than my own composition of majority Northern and Western European ancestry), then having them be a clone would not match that preference, since their appearance, while still differing by sex, would look rather equivalent to yours, which is not always desirable.
