Everything just seems wrong. Every community, public hobby, piece of media is being ruined by normies and indoctrination, children are being raised by the internet, drugs are becoming more common and legal, individualism is on it's rise, etc. Everyone has given up on any sense of self respect or morals, and countries are becoming worse even aside from that. I feel like my only duty is to search frantically for like minded people, isolate myself, and escape from my current setting. If it will even be better anywhere else

I blame capitalism and the industrial revolution... because automation has removed dozens of professions and started nationalism and individualism. Purpose is extremely hard to find for the modern man, and this is the result of it, along with corrupt morally void leadership.

while true for a very small amount of people who populate the vast amount of social media (therefore making everyone think the entire world is like this) , you’re being a doomer and this totally isn’t it. it’s ok to be upset when you see the states of current things - but also realise sin was made from the beginning and we’re only more aware of the evil of man due to social media and the fact that things are now SHOVED into our faces.
capitalism is definitely a source for issue though. greed and lust is man’s worst enemy and nothing will satiate it - so the further we “progress” the further people will go. the most you can do is be as righteous as you can - and influence those around you. just ranting about it makes you just as bad as those uncs who do nothing but complain and bring up politics in family dinners.
