The movement is that type of old source engine movement you don't get any more with modern games, the aesthetic is nice, and at its core it's just fun. Despite its ever-decreasing optimization and the bot crisis, it's still being played almost 2 decades down the line with near 0 support from valve.

Okay, well that's a whole different thing. It's like if we are talking about cars and you say, "I'm not really a fan of Mercades" and I reply with something about Mercades. But instead of talking about Mercades, you say "I meant I don't like cars in general". Not to say reading books is bad, that's much better than videogames usually. I just mean that the way you put it was odd.
