I get what you're saying, as some of that lot of people act rather pathetically, but I still think that folk should care about the peaceful preservation of a culture and an ethnic identity. What, are we to hate the Amerindians, now? Their land was conquered and their people were murdered, viciously and terribly, and their cultural identity now exists on small plots of reservations, hidden away in the plains of lands like Oklahoma, which was once even the whole of their autonomous territory then, in the Indian Territory, now shrunken even further. It is logical that we shouldn't want that to happen again.
