I've known her for 4 years, and I'm not ready to send a pic of myself yet geg, especially on a site where I know that whatever I post will remain there forever.

They're right. At least that's how Iranians do it. It was used to refer to people who acted like nobles and lived with honor. Even if you read ancient writings of persian kings, when they are introducing themselves they say they are persian and after that they call themselves aryan. Obviously they considered persian their race, not aryan.
