Checked Wikipedia and it said conversion therapy was "Pseudoscientific" (makes me feel like it actually works extremely well). But yeah it mostly seems like it's meant for stupid teenagers that think they're the opposite gender or that they love men or something of that accord.
My opinion? I don't know, I know this type of procedure exists but I haven't done much research on it, and I don't think simply forcing someone to comply will make them give up their delusion (Infact it may reinforce it more, since they think that multiple people telling them they're wrong automatically means they themselves are correct and therefore the others are wrong). This type of weird shit just appears because the US Government and co. refuse to re-open the asylums, they are most needed in a time like this.

Me lembro quando tinha uns doze anos e vi um pelado no meio da rua. Aparentemente era um cara que "virou" mulher, por que tinha voz de homem afeminado e tinha aquelas tetas falsas que eles usam pra convencer que são mulheres de verdade
