Yeah. Transgenderism has pretty much completely taken over the western left and all traditional pro-worker and pro-welfare stances have been sidelined in order to push trans rights. This has also led to almost all right wing parties (except the ones who support neoliberalism and close relations with america weirdly. They don't seem to care about trans rights at all.) to sideline all of their traditional anti-immigration and anti-globalization stances to focus on opposing trans rights.
