ive never shot one but im assuming it would be for me since im really skinny. then again there are low recoil 9mm rounds and tbf i think recoil probably wouldnt be an issue with 9mm as long as i didnt get a subcompact

yeah
although the concept of a cheap (almost disposable) stamped steel SMG has been tried before, just look at the M3 from WW2.
that being said the TEC-9s were really poorly made and they were extremely picky with magazines iirc
