It doesn't really feel like there is much of a point to this forum. Just by looking around, I see anime pfps, wannabe nametroons, and people asking about femcels. This feels like the punchline to a joke 'teens would make on /soy/ a year or two ago... Maybe I'm wrong, but if nothing else this feels pointless and just a way to produce nametroon drama.

inb4 I actually end up using this awful soy

The point of this site is to actually make a functionnal /plier/. I know a lot of 'teens hate blogposting, I like it. Other people like it too. Namefagging is a plague on the sharty, but on some slowburn projects like 'ki pages, it helps to be able to know people. Root added IDs anyway so idk why people complain about namefagging anyway now.

You go out of your way to use pink text to attention whore and you talk like a faggot.

Wikitroons needing to nametroon is a necessary evil that they except as part of the job and every 'arty lore keeper aknowledges that. During the soot, kuz, and doll eras, there were tons of big projects that didn't need any nametrooning. Name trooning will always be inherently bad within the soysphere, because it is everywhere. Still, you are right. This is about as close as we can get to the /plier/. Maybe the blog just needs some time to develop. However, for now it kinda just feels like it's going to be used to generate drama based on all the anime pfps. Let's not pretend the general distain for blog posting on the 'arty is unjustified. The lack of identity you see in the blog is the exact reason I made this thread. Maybe we just need to start making more productive and relevant threads to prove the sites worth. Operation: Reality could be a good start. It's a bitch to upload images to the 'ki and this operation is picture dense. The blog could act as a short-term store of information and images for the event, if not more.

I agree, especially with the Operation: Reality part. If what you said happened, it would be pretty gemmy. I originally made an account to talk in https://soyjak.blog/index.php?threads/soyjak-wiki-general.147/ because I'm a wikinigger. I believe the purpose of the site is to have an outlet for blogposting that doesn't cloud up the 'sharty, though

Already made the Operation: Reality thread. Wikitroon too, but after uploading two of the images, I decided I wasn't going to go through that hell. I made it in "gems and masterpieces" because where the fuck else would I post it.

Yeah lots of good points, and sure why not host the operation reality event.
Thing is 'teens participating in the event probably don't know about the blog because it's been removed from the top bar, and some may yet be hesitant about coming in.
I or someone else can make the thread, if I have time I may participate but I'm not very sure, but even then doubtful we'll be successful in bringing 'teens here.
A bit sad because blogs are perfect for slow burn projects like that, were threads don't face extinction after a day or two of inactivity.
We'll still need to advertize and convince 'teens to come here then

Operations rarely succeed, but trying is better than just sitting on your hands and doing nothing. Soygate was a joke, yet we ended up going pretty far with that. All it takes is 1 influencer to snap a photo or one local news station to talk about "those creepy posters".

I agree with you but the schlog is early in development and I’m hoping there’ll eventually be more restrictions against troons and NAS avatars before we end up as a ‘cord server. At least there’s no porn and the mods haven’t gone on a powertrip yet.

I figured you guys were already aware of the concern, but it really is the biggest most glaring issue with any soysphere space where you can nametroon (in this case have to). I couldn't help but ask and test the waters.
