I doubt anything would happen unless I live somewhere where crime already is a problem. Most people don't wake up everyday thinking about committing a crime. Fear of legal punishment shouldn't be the only thing inhibiting you from committing crime, unless you're a psychopath, or have the moral reasoning of a 6-year-old.

Accurate, lethal shots? Buy a SR-25 and detach the scope, use the backup (or buy a new pair of) ironsights so you can kill up close more accurately.

Run an annual protection racket for 24 hours. I presume contracts can still depend on actions and evidence from the lawless period- but even if they can't, customers can still check past performance themselves. It would be cool to build trust in critical situations with some smart, competent guys every year for an extra paycheck. Checking infrared UAV cameras, letting off warning shots to scare kids off, patrolling a small patch of territory. Cozy.

The real big clients like politicians would be sequestered in rural small towns after elaborate pre-lawless setup where they are plausibly routed between a large number of locations, not even their drivers sure whether they are transporting VIPs or masked stand-ins to a given facility. We wouldn't even know if we are guarding anyone important in the restricted part of our facility until after it is all over.

I'd mill out 80% lowers at the start of the crimewave, test and distribute among guards to temporarily replace their standard legal weapons. Shame to dispose of these afterward, maybe you could just re-weld them into an incomplete form to be milled out again next year.

Also, kidnap some chubby college freshmen girls and help them slim down a bit. Mandatory 24 hour exercise regime. Free protection, free water, free treadmill with complementary restraints- probably get like 1 in 4 to attend voluntarily. I'd like to get good at chemistry and manufacture/destroy some good party/psychedelic drugs within the 24 hour duration.
