What should i do with my potential new future computer

i'm getting a new pc with a 2 tb nvme ssd should i dualboot windows with linux or remove windows and replace it with linux? also arch or gentoo (you can suggest other linux distros too here) my cpu has 6 cores 12 threads

What do you need 6 cores and 12 threads for? Are you doing heavy lifting with your computer, using it as a workstation (playing games and doing work on it at the same time)? I installed the i3 12100F which has only 4 cores and 8 threads which, for me, perfectly suits daily use. If you could elaborate on the specs of your future PC I could help you with the dualboot question and what to use

my future pc will have 64 gigabytes of ram i plan to play games on it and use it for daily use and other stuff like compiling programs i also am considering making virtual machines on it like i did with my current main computer the cpu is a ryzen pro 5600g

If you're dualbooting you'll want to get 2 ssds. I heard windows updates fuck with linux installs if they're on the same storage.
Also if you're using nvidia I'd suggest using a pleb distro like endeavou ros, pop os. You can use gentoo, don't get me wrong, but nvidia proprietary drivers are a paint to get and the default nouveau drivers suck ass

Dualboot Mint and Windows (this is what DONALD does.) But make sure Windows is installed first.
