Goodnight Melvin and have a good rest.

I don't listen to music while I sleep but I've thought of doing it before, just in the case where say the music were to influence my dreams. If I did, it would probably be songs that I find really catchy or bring me the most comfort, if not that then really soothing or calm music.
I used to listen to music while i slept when i was into pink floyd and other retro hippy shit. It was actually very nice, especially meddle.
I always sort of drift in and out of sleep where I "dream while awake" for 30 minutes to an hour, so it's really cool "waking up" in that state surrounded by music.

Anyways, now i generally listen to m4f dom furry verbal abuse toxic boyfriend roleplays

My heater when it's a cold month, or, otherwise, the various sounds of the house settling, and the relative quiet of it all. The outside surroundings of my home are not at-all noisy until the summer months, when cicadas and crickets are all over the field, chirping about. That's one reason why I enjoy winter. The nights are actually quiet.

i remember in my old house i used to fall asleep to the AC it was so relaxing i like noise like that

a few months ago i fell asleep to merzbow’s merzbient and it was barely halfway through when i woke up

my own thoughts and the stupid fucking loud fan inside my room

You listen to "harsh noise" to help you get to sleep? That doesn't sound very comforting.
it’s something you get used to and it’s certainly not for everyone - it’s music with almost all attributes removed other than texture, and in its place texture is pushed to its absolute extremes. if you have the right mindset when listening to it it’s a very zen experience
