Discussion What books has the schlog been reading?

as a game dev, been reading the final hours of portal 2 because im genuinely interested in how valve operates as a company and their work culture and reading about their personal lives is pretty interesting.

i've been meaning to reread shelby foote's "the civil war: a narrative," but I can't find my copies anywhere
 
reading crime and punishment cuz i borrowed the book from my brother and he wants i back and now i gotta finish it fast

HWABAG, it might be best to clear the air of any further suspicion about your relations with this cartoon Jap teenager (especially following your court case) by toning down the noun you use to describe her. Rather than your wife, call her your best friend, or your darling idol, or some other term, just some sort of name that allows you to express your clear fondness for her without making you seem like something that we certainly hope you aren't. You can still love her, and that's alright (even if it is still a bit weird to love a cartoon this much) since love has many facets and love can not immediately, automatically be equated to some sort of sexual interest, but her being your "wife" implies to many that that's what this love could be. Just my suggestion, buddy.

I have been reading a biography of Francisco Franco as of now, really has given me more nuance on him and how I view him, its not biased towards him but it also doesn't vilify him, either
 
i read blood orange (at least partly) bc i thought it was a cute romance and then it got cringy and then there was smut and i tried to see past it but after the second weird scene i just had to leave it 💔
