Still probably the genre I listen to the most.
Discovered it through impensing doom, a christian band, but now my fav group probably is infant annihilator.
Honestly deathcore is so vast a subgenre, or a style, that it could be it's own genre. You have so many artists who do so many different things, I'm sure you can find at least one thing you like there if you like metal.

So yeah my personnal favourite deathcore bands are probably Infant Annihilator, Impending doom, Chelsea Grin, Brand of Sacrifice

Symphonic stuff is why I find Lorna Shora tu suck.
Sure Will Ramos has some crazy ass growls and their breakdowns are the shit, but the fucking pseudo symphonic stuff they put in the background is the gayest shit ever
Also only listen to the older stuff of impending doom, imo their new stuff sucks a bit.
Death will reign is their best album probably
