hey! :O this is actually a v misleading (and harmful!!!) anti-semetic blood libel trope :) the talmud is a vast collection of texts, scholarly debates and codes assembled over the course of hundreds of years. to mischaracterize jews and spread hate by taking lines of text out of context (and straight up just making up others!!!!!) is wildly evil and should be punished by death. hope this helps!!!! :3
