I have been living among mongoloids for a while now (I refuse to call them Orientals. "The Orient" refers to the area between the Bosporus and the Tian Shan Mountains) and have become very acquainted with strange racial characteristics.
We all know the obvious ones. Monolid eyes, tawny skin. Then there are the ones we know about but speak of less often. They're all very ectomorphic and skinny, unless you go far north where you get these very stockily built siberian types. But in America most Asians are from Southern China. Also, they have very little body hair and struggle to grow a beard. The Japanese are excepted from this (among other things) but I'll get to them later. They are shorter than White people, but not by as much as people assume. They have this flaky, dry grey earwax. Most strange of all is that they actually have stripes on their back. I know there is an official name for this but I can't find it with a simple google search. I know I have heard of this being a larger phenomenon, but was only reminded of its existence by seeing these people. Their lower back is horizontally lined with these faint dark stripes. What the fuck? Anyways, another common trait is flat faces. Looking at their side profiles is uncanny, they have very little in the way of a brow ridge and their noses are low-lying. Their eyes are on the surface of their face, while my eyes are caved into my brow ridge and nasal ridge. As for their penis size, I have head anecdotally they are small, and they also seem to be the only race with actual statistically smaller penises. Whites, blacks, mexicans, only range heavily in avg. size when you're dealing with self-reported studies.
Less commonly known of characteristics... They have broad foreheads (brachycephaly) again, Japan excepted. They have less odorous glands in their armpits. They have something called "shovel-shaped incisors" although this is seem to some extent in Western populations too. Only a small fraction of them are capable of comfortably digesting milk into adulthood. They have high and well-defined cheekbones.
One of the most remarkably common traits in East Asians is myopia. Almost all East Asians I know wear glasses. People insist that this is due to their culture emphasizing studying at a young age, but I honestly feel like there's no way that can explain how common it is. It isn't nearly this common in Jews, who also have a very wordcelly culture. Albeit, Jews these days seem to be much lazier students than the stereotype imagines them.
Asians are not necessarily un-athletic, but they do seem to have a lot of trouble building muscle mass due to their natural skinniness. They have to put in more effort than westerners just to gain enough weight to put muscle on.
But why? Why do East Asians have these bizarre characteristics? Some sources say that it is due to a warmer, more humid climate, but the most common explanation seems to be Borealization. Europe was also extremely cold in the distant past, and indeed some EHGs had "mongoloid" characteristics to some extent. This was not due to their ANE ancestry. Mongoloid phenotype certainly did not exist in the 30,000s BC. The Jomon represent an east eurasian strain which did not borealize but also did not become tropical-looking, which is why they look like Europeans despite being completely unrelated. This is also why Japanese grow better beards and sometimes have more European-looking faces
